Scrapbook pages

Here are a few recent pages I've scraped. I have found new inspiration from a designer...TaylorMade. I follow her blog so feel free to click her link and then looked at her personal scrapbook pages. They are beautiful and a little different from the traditional scrapbook pages. I started the second course from jessicasprague.com and am learning a lot. Anyone interested in learning the secrets to photoshop should take her class! Enjoy the photos!

6 month old comparison

Parker will be 6months old next week so I thought I'd post 6 month pictures of both of them. I've been going through pictures and have noticed that Tanner was sitting up by now. Parker is really close and can sit up for 10-15 seconds but is not near as steady as Tanner was at 6 months. Don't they have the cutest little noses?

Just the kids

Here are a few pictures of the kids from last week. They are getting bigger every day!

Tanner was "pretending" it was his birthday...he just wanted a candle on his cupcake!
Parker is so close to sitting up on her own. Right now she has mastered leaning over!

The Honesty of a Three Year Old

This morning Tanner was playing with his toys in the living room and I had turned PBS on. Curious George had been playing and Tanner was entertaining himself with his coloring books. A few minutues later, Tanner comes looking for me. With a speed and enthusiasm which only Tanner can manage, he starts describing a new show that had just come on. After a big presentation, he stops and calmly asks me "Is that a nice show Mom?" Trying not to laugh over the sudden seriousness of his question I asked him if he needed me to come and see if it was a "nice show" or not. Pulling me by the hand, I go "check" the show and give him my approval. Happily, he goes back to his coloring/show watching. I couldn't help but be proud of him since there are shows that we say are "not a nice show". He could have continued watching and never questioned it, but he wanted to make sure I thought it was okay. Of course, on PBS there wasn't anything to worry about.

Family reunion

The whole crew (Bonnie left early)
Tanner, Avery, and Keeba (Papoppie) wrestling

Cassy, Peyton, Jessie, and Parker

Parker telling Zack a secret

This is baby Zachary...Rach's little boy...a big boy!

This is my third post tonight only because it's been a busy few days. I thought Abby would want to see pictures of tonights get-together since she wasn't able to by there. We missed you and the kids!..and Shane too..:)

Children's Museum

We visited the children's museum this week which is always a blast for Tanner. It was very busy and therefore not quite as fun as times in the past just due to the large amount of people everywhere! Parker really seemed to enjoy the blown glass display while Tanner liked the dinosaurs and the merry-go-round! Parker was fascinated with the colored lights and we tried to get a picture for you to see.

Mommy, Tanner, and Parker

Here are a few pictures of me and the kids. I realized I have very little pictures of me with them because it seems like I'm always the one behind the camera!

The kids at Christmas

Here are a few pictures of Tanner, Parker, and Peyton from Christmas. Doesn't little Peyton look like a baby doll? She's so cute!

The little food critic

At only 5 months, Parker is quite the food critic. Her opinion...baby food is bad! We have been trying to get her started on baby food and rice cereal but she makes an awful face and spits it out. She will eat fruit from time to time, but vegetables...forget it! Now, given the chance at "big people food", you have to fight her grubby hands off of your utensils. She makes every attempt to try and steal whatever food you are eating! None the less, we continue our attempts at baby food. Parker would prefer potato soup at every meal if we would let her! As you can see in the pictures, she loves nawing a graham crackers. She was to impatient for me to feed her one day so she decided to try to feed herself! Daddy thought she would like a chocolate covered pretzel and he was right!
